SNACKS

SNACK PREPARATION AND SNACK TIME:
We believe that children are capable and eager to learn basic kitchen skills.  This daily time provides interaction with simple kitchen tools, working with measurements, learning about nutrition and the satisfaction of creating a healthy and delicious after school snack.


THE BIG SNACK:
Once a week we help the children prepare and  serve an extra-special snack, that will require a larger amount of time for preparation.  Cookie decorating, baking a cake, and making fruit kabobs are all examples of some of our more adventuresome snack experiences.


Our Menu:
Our menu changes every week. The rotation is posted on the members only portion of this website.

Monday:
Ritz crackers, cheese, juice or water 
Tuesday:
Apples/dipping sauce, water or milk 
Wednesday:
BIG SNACK DAY:  Decorated Rice Krispie Shapes, water or juice 
Thursday:
Popcorn, water or juice. 
Friday:
Assorted flavors of Teddy Grahams, water or juice

Monday:
Puff wheat cake, water or juice
Tuesday:
Mixed veggies with dip
Wednesday:
BIG SNACK DAY – Home made cupcakes or cookies, milk or juice
Thursday:
Nachos and juice or water
Friday:
Popcorn, water or juice
